You were considered privileged and distinguished if you owned one of these "moralitos".

In the name of modernity/ a new era, the consumer society has devalued numerous items that were once of top-quality and importance. Hardly anything gets reused or repaired anymore.

Keep your eyes on Jesus. When we lose sight of Jesus and we want to play Superman, we put ourselves in mortal danger. When we are left to our own devices, we sink.
If we want to walk on water like Peter, then we need to fix our eyes on Jesus and not forget the miracle He keeps doing for us.
'O you of little faith, why did you doubt?
Don't let your circumstances destroy you.
Cling to Jesus for His love is greater than the winds of hatred, the hurricanes of passion, the whirlwind of selfishness, the tides of pride, or the false calm of indifference.
His mercy is much greater than our vain stupidity, our senseless imprudence, or our foolish vanity.
