It is with deep sorrow that the Barillas family announce the passing of Mr. Luis Eduardo Barillas of Hope Creek Village, lovingly known as Mr. Lue, Uncle Lue or Papa Lue. A devoted husband, cherished father, treasured grandfather, beloved son, and loyal friend.

He is predeceased by his:

Wife: Iris Barillas

Parents: Bertilla Barillas and Carlos Barillas

Brother: Armando Barillas

Sister: Zoila Barillas Gideon

Sons: Allan Barillas, Louis Barillas Sr., Michael Escobar, and Luis Cano

A funeral service to celebrate his life and legacy will be held on Saturday August 23rd 2025, at 2:30 pm at Mr. Luis Barillas’ residence in Hope Creek Village, Stann Creek District. His body will lie in state at 1:30 pm for viewing.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Mr. Vivian Christopher Alvarez of Barranco Village.
