Welcome to the Scarlet Macaw Eco - Adventure Resort & Farm page. We provide farming, hydro / solar power, camping, hiking, kayaking, rafting, sun bathing, bird watching, fishing, horseback riding, zip lining, Mayan ruin tours to the "off the beaten path" locations. We are located near the town of Red Bank and San Pablo, Stann Creek district, Belize on the shore of the Swasey river and edge of the Red Bank Scarlet Macaw Viewing Area. We are an hour and twenty minutes from the beach in Placencia, twenty minutes from Independence and Mango Creek. We are looking forward to providing a safe, relaxing, adventurous resort that provides a low impact to the ecology and your pocket book while giving great rewards back to you and the local environment, culture, and people. We work closely with Seakunga (www.seakunga.com) for your tour and expedition needs. Seakunga has 21 years of experience providing tour and expeditions in Belize. A list of tours and expeditions can be found on the Seakunga website. Right now we have very few amenities. We currently have camping space for 30 campers / 10 four man tents. We have space for hammock camping and secluded jungle camping. We have a picnic table and fit pit for some outside communal eating. We have an outhouse to help keep the messy stuff in one location. Additional amenities; clothes washing, food, can be worked out with the local Mayan village. We provide a 10% discount to military personnel.
