ULC Belize Mission Statement
My goal as senior pastor of ULC Belize is to create a safe space for healing but also for ‘being’. I believe there are dangers in trying to fit ourselves into a box, whether it’s religious or social. Be the “youiest you that you can be” is something I say often. That means be true to yourself, your inner being, and be in your integrity in both word and deed. Listen to
your own spirit, your beautiful blessed higher self who knows all things. Eat what you want to eat, drink what you want to drink, say what you feel and be completely true to the being that you are becoming. Always have respect for others as they reach for their highest potential because we are All One. Traditionally, church has been little more than a prison, imposing restrictions on your body and soul. What I want is the exact opposite; a place of freedom. I sincerely wish to create a safe place, free of drama and harassment, and full of Universal Love.
~ Rev. Dr. Bonnie M. Russell
Rev. Russell's personal mission is to relieve the pain from abuse inflicted by the dogma within traditional religious organizations, through a holistic mind-body-spirit approach which connects us to the Universal Source of all things. We hold Healing Meditation services on Sunday mornings, 10:00-11:00
All funds are generated through donations received from holistic counseling sessions, spirit based classes and healing meditations, wedding and baptism ceremonies, and through the sale of herbal medicine and food.
