Restore Massage aims to provide clients with individualized attention because every BODY is different and everyone has different needs when it comes to massage and bodywork. The necessary time is taken to understand current and previous medical conditions and injuries because they impact what clients experience now. Regardless of needs, goals for each visit are established before hands-on time begins to ensure clients get what they are looking for. Treatment plans and measurable outcomes are established for clients using bodywork as part of a treatment program. Restore Massage offers a variety of therapy services:

Swedish Massage - a basic massage that uses long, flowing strokes and gentle muscle kneading to calm the nervous system, reduce stress and reduce muscle tension. This type of massage relaxes the surface muscles and is often used to prepare the body for deeper work. Deep Tissue Massage - this type of massage manipulates all layers of muscle. Once tight surface muscles are relaxed, slow, firm strokes and more direct pressure are used on specific muscle groups. Deep tissue massage may be integrated with other massage techniques to address tissue adhesions and trigger points. Prenatal/Postpartum Massage - prenatal massage helps prepare the body for labor and delivery through sensory awareness. Using appropriate body positioning, techniques are used to help reduce strain and dysfunction in weight bearing joints and myofascial structures, increase blood and lymph circulation, reduce leg edema, and relieve muscle spasms and myofascial pain. Massage after delivery improves circulation and lymphatic drainage, addresses muscle strain and soreness, helps restore abdominal muscle tone, and aids in regaining appropriate posture. Muscle Release Technique - this form of injury therapy uses compression to break up scar tissue and extension and movement to lengthen unhealthy muscle, restore muscle memory and relieve or eliminate chronic pain.
