AbbyPD Appeals to the Public for Assistance in Locating Missing Senior, Dale Kirkwood

Abbotsford, BC – July 24th, 2025 – On July 16, 2025, 70-year-old Dale Kirkwood was reported missing to the Abbotsford Police Department. Dale’s disappearance is considered highly unusual and has raised concern for both his family and investigators.

Dale is described as approximately 5'6", with a slender build, short black hair, and a short goatee. At the time of his disappearance, he may have been wearing a grey baseball cap, a white t-shirt, blue shorts, and white shoes. Dale was last seen in the 1800 block of Salton Road.

On July 20, 2025, AbbyPD issued a public appeal for information regarding Dale’s whereabouts. Unfortunately, no new leads have emerged.

We are urging anyone who may have seen Dale or has information that could assist in locating him to contact the Abbotsford Police Department at 604-859-5225.

It's free clothing closet time at Foundry Abbotsford again! This event is open to all youth ages 12-24 and their families. Come on by just for the closet or browse while you wait for your appointment. All are welcomed and encouraged to take as much as they need. Please bring your own bags if you plan to stop by 😊

The closet will be open in Meeting Space A at Foundry, just off of the waiting room:

Monday (July 14) 12pm-3pm
Tuesday (July 15) 11am-6pm
Wednesday (July 16) 1:30pm-6pm
Thursday (July 17) 10am-1:30pm
