UPDATE ON OUR BAKE SALE 🧁

We need baking as it looks like the donations are down.
Cookies, cupcakes, squares, buns etc
The funds generated from this bake sale goes to good causes with-in the hospital.

The Bake sale starts at 9:00am - 2:00pm on Friday March 27th

There will be an Auxiliary member at the main door, at 8:00am,
to collect your dropped off baked goods.

If you can donate any baked goods it will be greatly appreciated.

A couple of new faces for our Auxiliary to Abbotsford Hospital executive.
Left to right -
Damilola is our new secretary
Rose and Ranjot will start their second year as co-presidents
Ajay has taken on the daunting task of treasurer.
Missing from the picture is Gillian, returning Vice President and Ryan our 2nd Vice.
A huge and grateful thanks to outgoing secretary, Marie and our treasurer for the past 12 years, Janet.
The new executive will be sworn in at the June dinner. 👏👏👏👏

We have featured one of our oldest volunteers and one of our male volunteers so now it is time to feature our youngest Volunteen.
Kirt is 17 years old and in Gr. 12. Kirt sees volunteering as a new experience. It has opened her eyes to the community and meeting new people, as well as other volunteers while learning about them and learning from them. Kurt hopes to continue her education at SFU pursuing a BA in Business and eventually her Masters, all while continuing to volunteer with us.

Our hearts go out to the community of Tumbler Ridge as we can not imagine what the community is going through.
Our deepest condolences to the families who lost loved ones and healing thoughts to the ones who were injured, especially the little girl in Children’s Hospital. 🙏❤️🙏

One of the few men of the Auxiliary to the Abbotsford Hospital.
Mark has been with us since 2019 and we can always depend on him for filling last minute vacancies.
Mark likes to chat with our VolunTeens and share life stories.
When a customer, especially children, are looking at and touching the stuffed animals 🧸 one of Mark’s favorite sayings is “Don’t worry they won’t bite, I fed them this morning”
It always gets a laugh! 🤣
We appreciate you, Mark, so keep up the good work! 🥰

Ahhhh - I just can’t resist! My Schnauzer’s, breeders from Mission, allow these cuddly little pups to be brought to the hospital to take part in the Puppy Love therapy program for patients and staff. On an average of twice a month the puppies are taken to the ACE or CCU for an overload of cuteness!
The book cart, outside, the Hospital Gift Shop, funds this program from the cash donations for the books, which in turn are donated by THE BOOK MAN. ❤️🐶❤️
