It's free clothing closet time at Foundry Abbotsford again! This event is open to all youth ages 12-24 and their families. Come on by just for the closet or browse while you wait for your appointment. Please bring your own bags if you plan to stop by!

The closet will be open in Meeting Space A at Foundry, just off of the waiting room:

Wednesday (October 15) 2pm-5pm
Thursday (October 16) 10am-1:30pm
Monday (October 20) 10am-4pm
Tuesday (October 21) 11am-3:30pm

*We do not accept additional donations for the clothing closet
*We will have other groups running in the space, so please be mindful of the specific times for the clothing closet

North West Rubber Ltd. marked the 5th annual National Day for Truth and Reconciliation with their 5th donation of $1000 to Archway.

This contribution supports both the Youth Resource Centre and Foundry Abbotsford, helping create meaningful opportunities for Indigenous youth to connect with their culture and community. Many youth haven’t had someone in their lives to share traditional teachings, and these funds allow us to offer activities and learning experiences guided by Elders.

Thanks to this support, Foundry Abbotsford was honoured to welcome Elder Jade, who shared teachings on Indigenous medicine.

Halloween Party October 30th from 6:00pm-9:00pm - open to youth ages 12-24 who want to try new activities and socialize with other young people.

🎃We will be having our Annual Halloween Party on Thursday, October 30th at Foundry from 6:00pm-9:00pm.
🖤You don't have to stay for the whole time, or arrive right at 6:00pm.
🎃We will have a costume contest for anyone who shows up in costume, and prizes for the first, second, and third place! The costume contest winners will be announced at 7:30pm!
🖤There will be food and candy of course! As well as many activities such as pumpkin painting, guess the Halloween song, ring toss and SO MUCH MORE!

*A silent room will be available for those who are needing a quiet space away from the noise.
*Food will have Gluten Free and Vegetarian options
*REGISTRATION IS REQIURED! There is limited capacity in the building.

Foundry C.A.R.E.S - is a weekly group that provides youth ages 16-24 who have accessed foster care, mental health, and/or substance use services or experienced homelessness before age 19; with social connection, life skills, and empowerment. This group normally meets Thursdays 3:30pm-5:30pm.

💎Thursday, October 2nd — Beading Gemstone Bracelets
We will be beading and making some gemstone bracelets together this day! Make something fun for yourself or to give to someone else!

🎨Thursday, October 9th — Expressive Art
Time to express your creativity!! We will be having an artful day filled with fun ways to be able to express yourselves through art; such as bilateral drawing, visual meditation and more!

🍿Thursday, October 16th — Movie Night: Beetlejuice Beetlejuice
Get your popcorn ready to tune in with us for snacks and a movie in the legendary Beetlejuice sequel!

🍫Thursday, October 23nd — Muddy Brownies
Learn to make some delicious muddy brownies to take your sweet tooth out on!

🧡Thursday, October 30th — Cancelled for the annual Halloween Party!
