I realized I wanted to be a doula during my first pregnancy. I was passionate about learning as much as I could about pregnancy and childbirth. I read everything I could and participated in multiple studies and programs. I attended several prenatal, breastfeeding, and parenting classes. I thought my obsession would pass when I was no longer pregnant but I had fallen in love. Being able to support a mother in childbirth is the ultimate honour for me. I feel that every mother deserves to birth her baby in any way she chooses, whether that is a water birth at home or a scheduled cesarean or anything in between. I am not here to judge your choices or make them for you, I am here to support you no matter what. My fee is $700, however if you are unable to afford this please contact me to make arrangements as I believe every mother deserves a doula.
