We get asked this a lot: why can’t RMTs do couples massage? Here’s the why.

RMTs are regulated healthcare professionals who provide individualized, medically based treatments.

It’s one-on-one care, not side-by-side.

It’s not our rule, it’s theirs (CMTBC’s, to be exact).

If you are booking a massage, we will specifically state it is performed by an RMT, whereas many of our specialty treatment massages will be performed by a massage therapist.

Both are equally qualified in their areas of expertise and offer excellent care, one however is covered with your extended healthcare provider, and the other is not.

The Wild Orange spa™ opened in 2004, fuelled by the ambitious energy of sisters Farrah Easton and Lisa Evans. It was the wild orange groves found along the Amalfi Coast of Italy that originally inspired the spa’s name. The sisters were eager to capture the serenity and calm they found in those groves. Wrapped in a warm waffle robe and sipping herbal tea with closed eyes, clients are easily transported to a virtual coast, where ambience instantly consumes tired minds and bodies.
