Each year, Superior Glove celebrates Thomas Edison’s birthday as a reminder of the power of innovation, experimentation, and persistence. As one of history’s greatest inventors, Edison represents the mindset that progress doesn’t happen by accident; it’s built through curiosity and continuous improvement.

This year, our departments brought that spirit to life with a live “mousetrap” chain-reaction challenge, where every action triggered the next step.

It was a practical reminder that meaningful progress comes from testing ideas, refining them, and working together toward a shared goal.

For more than a century, Superior Glove has been building and evolving hand protection—growing alongside the industries we serve. As we continue to expand our capabilities and facilities, it’s just as important to look back and reflect on our roots.

This was the sewing and assembly area at our original headquarters in Acton, ON, Canada. Gloves were produced in small batches by a close-knit team—many of whom stayed with the company for decades. That consistency shaped how we work and helped form the culture we continue to build on today.

The Darling Home for Kids provides specialized care and programs for children with complex medical needs, offering comfort, support, and a place for families to recharge.

Recently, our team returned to help bring up some special decorations for their upcoming Halloween event being hosted for the children, families, and staff who make the home such a welcoming place.

We’re thankful for the opportunity to contribute, learn, and be part of the community they’ve built.
