🌍✨ Today is World Spine Day! ✨🌍

Your spine does more than just hold you upright—it protects your nervous system, supports movement, and plays a vital role in your overall health.
This year’s theme is about spinal health and prevention.

That means:

✅ Move daily – even gentle walks count!
✅ Practice good posture – small adjustments go a long way.
✅ Listen to your body – don’t ignore pain or tension.
✅ Get your spine checked – proactive care helps you stay strong and balanced.

At Core Balance Centre-re-HUB Health Collective, we’re passionate about helping people restore alignment, improve posture, and live without the limitations of spinal problems.

💡 Today is a great reminder: your spine is central to your health—take care of it every day!

Cervicogenic dizziness is frustrating, but the good news is: it’s treatable!

🎯 Gentle upper cervical adjustments
🎯 Sensorimotor retraining
🎯 Eye-head coordination exercises
🎯 Posture and balance rehab

Together, these help restore normal function between your neck, eyes, ears, and brain—so you can feel grounded again.

Cervicogenic Dizziness Symptoms

Think your dizziness is “just stress” or “in your head”?
Here are signs your neck might be the culprit:

⚠️ Dizziness or unsteadiness
⚠️ Visual blurring with head movement
⚠️ Neck stiffness or discomfort
⚠️ Trouble focusing
⚠️ Fatigue or “foggy” feeling

If this sounds familiar, your upper cervical spine may need a closer look.

💡 You’re not imagining it—your neck and brain are deeply connected.

You’re hiking on an uneven trail. Your eyes scan the rocks, your head turns to look around, and your feet adjust your steps.

✅ Your eyes, inner ear, and neck are constantly working together to keep you upright.

Now imagine one of those systems isn’t working right—like your neck after an injury.

That small imbalance can throw off your entire coordination system.

👣 A healthy neck = steady movement, clear vision, and safe steps.

Your body uses a group of reflexes to stabilize your vision, head, and posture—all without you thinking about it:

🔁 Gaze Stabilizing Reflexes: Keep your eyes steady while your head moves

🔁 Neck Stabilizing Reflexes: Stabilize your head on your shoulders

🔁 Postural Stabilizing Reflexes: Help your body stay upright.

If your neck isn’t moving well, these reflexes can falter—leading to dizziness or disorientation.

Meet your Balance Dream Team!

Balance and coordination come from 3 major systems working together:

👀 Vision (your eyes)

👂 Vestibular system (your inner ears)

💪 Cervical proprioception (your neck)

When one of these sends the wrong signals—especially after neck injury or strain—your brain can get confused.
The result? Dizziness, unsteadiness, or brain fog.

💡 That’s why assessing neck function is key in persistent dizziness cases.

Did you know your neck plays a critical role in helping you feel balanced and clear-headed?

Your cervical spine is full of sensors that help your brain interpret where your body is in space. If those signals are off, you might feel dizzy, foggy, or off-balance—even without an obvious injury. This is called cervicogenic dizziness.

👉 If turning your head makes you feel strange, your neck may be the missing piece.
