Frontline officers in Airdrie are now using body-worn cameras (BWCs) as part of the Alberta RCMP’s commitment to transparency, accountability & modernization. 🏛️🔍

Airdrie joins other Alberta communities in this nationwide rollout.

Today, February 26th is Pink Shirt Day in Canada. Pink Shirt Day began in 2007 when a student in Nova Scotia was bullied for wearing a pink shirt. Shout out to Kasey and Jade at Petvalu in Coopers. We tried out the self serve doggie wash and wow….. it was phenomenal. My mom and dad highly recommend it… me not so much! I hate getting wet but the extra treats made up for it. I smell great and hopefully this will help with my shedding and dander. Also got a new tag as I’m retired now so we had to update my contact info. 🤩

With the weather warming up, I took mom on a nice long walk yesterday. Managed to find a Petland in our travels. Coincidence? I think not. 😏 Came back to the hotel and had an afternoon snooze, and today we’re heading home. I give this trip a 9 out of 10.
