It’s a unique online class designed to explore yoga's philosophies, teachings, and lifestyle practices beyond physical postures. Each month, we dive into different aspects of yoga, such as meditation, mindfulness, Ayurveda nutrition, and self-compassion. This class is perfect for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of yoga and integrate its principles into everyday life.

Joining our Yoga Off the Mat online class is simple! Here’s how you can sign up:
• Navigate to the Shop page and select memberships & Pricing and select Yoga Off the Mat- this membership lets you register for this class only. (or if you already have a different membership with us you can use that)
• You will prompted to create an account (if you don’t have one) you can then Register for the class by selecting it on the schedule page or the offerings page
• When prompted to pay you will use your YOTM membership
• You will receive a confirmation email with the Google Meet link and further instructions.

In this 6-week "Introduction to Meditation" we will discuss how to start a daily meditation practice and address some of the common obstacles of "sticking with it" by using strategies that work!
This class is anchored in the philosophy of the Yoga Sutras of Pantanjali but will also include some science-based support for the traditional teachings.
Each week we will have group discussion, teachings that support you in understanding your body, mind and the practice, and we will of course, do some practice together.
*Handouts will be provided when appropriate and a WhatsApp group will be created for those interested in support & connection outside of class time.
*Registering for this class also means you are committing to doing your best to do the weekly homework of 1-5 minutes of practice per day.

Jessica Jacobs, the creator of The Yoga Junction, has experienced many transitions within her yoga journey and came realize that there is no “right way” to do yoga. Throughout her life there has always been an unconscious undercurrent of sharing and teaching. Following a trip to Bali, where she obtained her International Yoga Certification, she realized how prominent teaching was in her life. Through The Yoga Junction, she enthusiastically shares her passion with you.
The Yoga Junction is the union of everything within the yoga lifestyle. Created out of an understanding that everyone experiences a different yoga journey, The Yoga Junction is a space, both virtual and physical, where you are liberated to be authentically you. Through The Yoga Junction experience, we can create harmony and self-awareness on and off the mat, internally and externally, through collaboration and connection with others. By sharing resources, teachings, stories, and products both online and offline, we will all learn together.
We want to challenge and dismantle common perceptions of yoga and allow you to create your own path. On this journey, all you have to do is breathe and show up for yourself.
Give Back and Empower Other Women
The Yoga Junction Scholarship is one free admission to a retreat, and it will be awarded to someone who otherwise may not have the opportunity to attend. Five percent of each retreat admission will go towards the scholarship, so we can empower others together and create an inclusive space for everyone. Subsequent donations will be accepted.
