The Members-Only Veterans Community features a website that gives registered members access to their very own social networking page. Get involved in the discussions, post pictures and even join or start their own group. All confined in a social networking website just for active. released and retired members of the RCMP, Canadian Forces, Police Officers, Firefighters and Paramedics. So if you have served in uniform for Canada and Canadians then we need you to register for membership. You also have complete control over what other members can and cannot see in your profile by clicking SETTINGS under your IN-BOX in the community. This community also has an internal email system to eliminate SPAM and outsiders. Yes all messages you receive will be from someone from within the community that you know. Very sad to learn that the Queen has passed away today. I personally met Her Royal Highness during the 1987 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Vancouver, BC.

Veterans Affairs Minister Lawrence MacAulay's spokesman Alex Wellstead said the government is committed to better supporting those who have served in uniform by hiring more staff and making it easier to access services.
