Elite Strides Equine is now fully certified! The last 8 months are only the beginning for this new journey!

With that being said, prices are increasing from our previous rate to industry standard rates

Another great way to improve your bond is through massage.

🌟Massages can help build a sense of trust and connection, while also easing anxiety and stress, creating a safe environment! After each session, I like to provide the owner with a homecare plan, specialized to their horse. Within this plan are massage techniques, exercises and stretches to help further the benefits of the massage. By completing the homecare plan, you are helping your horse feel good which can help improve your bond!

How do you know if your horse needs a massage? Well there are a few ways you can check at home!

Horses showing signs of
🌟 Stiffness
🌟 Reduced ROM or preformance
🌟 Pinning of ears when saddling
🌟 Unable to pick up the proper lead
🌟 Avoids being caught
🌟 Not properly tracking up
🌟 Change in mood or behaviour
🌟 Throwing or shaking their head when being lunged or ridden
🌟 Will not accept the bit

These are a few signs your horse may be showing some discomfort. The good news is that equine massage is incredibly beneficial to help your horse feel their best!

Equine Massage is a great way to improve your horses mental state and relax their muscles. However, your horse does not always need to be showing signs of discomfort to benefit from the effects of massage! Similar to us, a massage can help horses to release tension, relax and rejuvenate! Getting your horse on a regular massage routine will help to ease their discomfort and promote relaxation.

Happy Friday!

Thank you all so much for the support and engagement from my last post, it means the world to me!

I thought I’d take a minute to explain a little more about what I do. At Olds, we have been taught many techniques from deep tissue massage to myofascial release, each which offers many benefits to your horses muscles and fascia. I use a combined approach, of many techniques, to ensure I can provide an effective massage tailored to your horses needs. Stay tuned to learn more about that!

Now you may be wondering, how is massage going to help my horse?

🌟Massage is an effective tool for increasing circulation, lymphatic drainage, ease of muscle tension and overall improvement of their mental state.
