Here are some tips for keeping your skin healthy during the winter:

Moisturize: Use a moisturizer that’s petroleum or cream-based, especially after washing your face or showering. You can also try an overnight deep moisturizer for dry areas like your hands, feet, and lips.
Protect from the sun: Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher to all exposed skin. The sun’s UV rays can still reach you through clouds, even on cloudy days.
Protect from the wind: Cover your face and use a petroleum-based lip balm.
Avoid long showers: Hot water and long showers can dry out your skin. Try to keep showers short, around 5–10 minutes.

Use a humidifier: Dry air can dehydrate your skin, so a humidifier can help.
Drink water: Staying hydrated can help keep your skin hydrated.

Avoid over-cleansing: Washing your face too much can remove your skin’s natural moisturizers.
