Retinol in the summer? Yes, you can absolutely still use it ☀️
The key is using it correctly and protecting your skin barrier while UV exposure is higher. Retinol helps improve texture, acne, pigmentation, and fine lines, but it can also make skin more sensitive if you’re overdoing it.
Summer retinol tips we swear by:
• Use it at night only
• Start slow, especially if you’re new to it
• Skip it 2-3 nights before lots of sun exposure, vacations, or outdoor events
• Always pair it with SPF 30+ every single morning
• Hydration is non negotiable 💧
• Don’t mix with too many strong actives all at once
