And many didn’t have digestive distress as a result but were experiencing nutrient deficiencies that extended beyond the gut.​​​​​​​​

Hypothyroid example: if your thyroid gland doesn’t get the raw materials such as protein, iodine, zinc, selenium to make its hormone T4 its going to slow down and struggle to meet your needs. (Synthetic T4 medications don’t solve this dynamic).​​​​​​​​

You need sufficient stomach acid to prevent maldigestion of food.

Everyone is SO focused on triaging the symptoms from this dynamic with medications and restrictive diets.

Gluten, dairy, raw veggies, even water some days… if it made me bloat, I cut it out.
