We may never know just how far those ripples of love go when we show love and kindness to others. What happens when someone pays it forward and buys you a cup of coffee, lets you in traffic when it looks like there's no hope, or helps you move some heavy boxes...even opening a door for you when your hands are full? These type of gestures make us feel warm and fuzzy 😍 It makes the recipient want to do something good for someone else and pass on that good feeling!

We had some wonderful sessions in January which was our first month back since 2020. This is a wonderful way to help our community and to practice self care at the same time. Sessions are normally worth $80-100 but for the last Saturday of the month we are doing them by donation (we have set it up so we don't know how much each person donates). The more you donate, the more we are able to donate to Airdrie Community Links. We also have Carla from Reiki Whisperings joining us for February.

How it All Began

Diane and I have both lived in Airdrie for over 40 years now. We went to school here and have raised our children here. We have both watched this town grow from 1,000 people to the size it is now.

We did not know each other when we attended George McDougall High School even though we attended at the same time. It wasn't until our sons were in the Airdrie BMX Club at the same time that we met for the first time in 1997. And then we met again in 2004 when our daughters were in Girl Guides. We started getting to know each other during our years as Girl Guide Leaders.

Our personal Spiritual paths began when we started taking Reiki classes together in 2010. Both of us have been blessed with the gift of healing. There are many directions to go when it comes to healing practices and we are constantly evolving and learning different techniques.

Together we have learned 3 different types of Reiki, Usui, Karuna, and Holy Fire and we both have also taken classes on Angelic Healing. Separately, Diane has learned Crystal Healing and Christine has taken a course in Huna Spirituality.
