CORE Essentials

CORE Essentials Private fitness training studio, Encouraging clients to know themselves, and their abilities.

Having completed all requirements as established by the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology Health and Fitness Program, along with a year’s study in the Rehabilitation Program at Grant MacEwan college, I have gained a wealth of knowledge in human anatomy, physiology, nutrition, movement mechanics and injury management. I have also closely studied the principles and methods of safe training and exercise prescription, health promotion and lifestyle counselling. I am known for my approachable, energizing and uplifting presence that welcomes and challenges clients to strive for their own personal best. As a trainer in the fitness field myself, my primary goal is to encourage my clients to know themselves, and their abilities. I am constantly inspired by my clients' willingness to delve into the deeper aspects of themselves and apply that to their physical self to reach new levels of personal fitness.

The holidays can be beautiful, busy, and a little overwhelming — which is exactly why Full Circle Massage and Core Essentials Fitness Studio are coming together again this season. 🎄✨

In a time filled with giving, planning, and doing for everyone else, movement and relaxation become powerful acts of self-care. They help us breathe deeper, move easier, and reconnect with what truly matters.

This year, treat yourself or someone you love to a thoughtful gift: a Massage + Fitness Class combo designed to restore the body, calm the mind, and bring a little more ease into the season.

Because the most meaningful gifts aren’t things — they’re moments of feeling grounded, supported, and cared for. 💆‍♀️💪❤️

My opinion and belief is that our bodies store all of our experiences and stories. These emotional memories are stored in the fascia.

When we incorporate intentional movement - you’re literally opening up an area that’s been tight or closed (like hips, chest, or throat). When breath starts flowing more freely, those “frozen” emotions can thaw and rise to the surface. It’s the body’s way of declaraing “im ready to release this now”.

I see exercise as a way of touching, nourishing, and strengthening our emotional bodies THROUGH our physical.

During these workouts (when you’re moving with intention) …. We are telling ourselves …. It’s safe to rebalance or recalibrate the nervous system.

Don’t panic. It’s a good thing when these two systems start working together.

All it needs is BREATH.

Just breathe through it. Literally.

Talk to your body even. She will calm herself with your thoughts and words and hand to heart. It’s beautiful.

Release it. Whether it’s a roaring belly yell- or a sobbing cry …. When youre working out, and these feelings surface- they’re right there for a reason. Do not swallow and push them back down.

Let them go
❤️

Exciting news—my daughter made the hockey team she was working so hard for! 🏒

HOWEVER- With that comes a busy schedule, so I want to give everyone a heads-up that there may be some small changes to session times in the coming weeks to accoommodate tournaments.

Your training and progress remain a priority, and I encourage you to reschedule sessions where needed to stay consistent.
If you need any help adjusting your schedule, please reach out to me directly—I’m happy to work with to find something that works.

Thanks for your understanding and commitment!
