Meet the Team ✨️ Ilesha, Clinical Assistant

Ilesha joined DSPI earlier this year and has been a great asset, ensuring both Dr. Green and Dr. Ashtarani's practices run smoothly and efficiently.

Ilesha recently graduated with a Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from McMaster University. She has valuable experience conducting clinical research in fibromyalgia populations, as well as in rehabilitation settings supporting individuals with spinal cord injuries and those with a history of cardiovascular events. In the future, Ilesha hopes to pursue graduate studies and eventually attend medical school, with a focus in rehabilitation medicine.

Outside of her professional interests, she enjoys fitness, baking, hiking, and Indian classical dance.

Meet the Team ✨️ Christine, RN Clinical Assistant

Christine joined our team at the end of last year, and works alongside Dr. Smith to assist with both his interventional pain practice and the regenerative medicine program.

Christine is a Registered Nurse originally from Nova Scotia with over 20 years of diverse clinical experience across acute care, community and home care, primary care, pediatrics, oncology, and emergency services. She is known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach and strong clinical skills in complex care and coordination.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her four children and leading an active lifestyle.

Christine is excited to join the DSPI team and looks forward to further advancing her knowledge and training in pain management and regenerative therapies. Welcome to our group!
