🦷✨ Do Dentures Last Forever?

One of the biggest myths we hear is that dentures are “set for life.” The truth is, dentures don’t last forever — and here’s why:

✅ Wear & Tear – Just like natural teeth, dentures wear down over time from chewing and daily use.
✅ Changes in Your Mouth – Your gums and jawbone naturally shrink and change shape, which can affect the fit of your dentures.
✅ Comfort & Health – Ill-fitting dentures can cause sore spots, make eating difficult, and even affect your overall oral health.

💡 When to Replace Dentures:
On average, dentures should be replaced every 5–7 years. Regular check-ups allow us to monitor their fit and function, and sometimes a simple adjustment or reline is all that’s needed — but eventually, a replacement will keep your smile healthy, comfortable, and confident.
