At In Joy Balance, I offer Live Blood Analysis and personalized nutritional consultations designed to get to the root cause of your symptoms and help your body regain balance and health. Injoy Balance has been created by Aleks Morgan, a Certified Yoga Teacher, Holistic Nutritionist and Reiki Practitioner, who lives with her husband and two beautiful children in Ajax, just outside Toronto. She has been inspired to go on a path of spiritual, mental and physical evolution after realizing that there must be a better way to balance work demands, family life and me-time. Her experience has taught her that by nurturing ourselves with self-love, proper nutrition, daily yoga and meditation practice, we can achieve life balance, health, happiness and fulfillment. She is also a strong believer that chronic stress is one of the biggest causes of dis-ease in our modern world with demands constantly increasing and time to nourish ourselves decreasing. One of the tools she uses is Live Blood Cell Analysis to help uncover underlying causes of your health concerns. Our body is capable of healing itself when given the right tools: restful sleep, proper nutrition, adequate water intake, yoga, meditation and FUN! Understanding Your Menstrual Cycle = Empowerment

Your body moves through four phases each month, and each one brings its own set of changes—especially when it comes to energy, mood, and cravings! Let’s break it down:

1️. Menstrual Phase (Days 1-5): You might feel low on energy and crave comfort foods. Give your body what it needs—rest and warming, nourishing meals.

2️. Follicular Phase (Days 6-14): Energy starts to rise! This is the time to load up on fresh fruits, veggies, and protein to fuel your creativity and motivation.

3. Ovulation Phase (Days 15-17): Peak energy and mood! You’ll feel more social and confident. But beware of sudden carb cravings as your body prepares for the next phase.

4️. Luteal Phase (Days 18-28): PMS hits, and cravings for sweets and salty snacks intensify as your body gears up for menstruation. Balance it out with magnesium-rich foods like nuts and seeds.
