Thanks to my thrift-store owner privileges, it is rare that I’m forced to buy clothing new. This year I had to buy a pack of underwear - and it was so devastatingly expensive that I’ve made it my mission to learn to sew my own. Cause they can’t be serious lol 🫠 The truth is, even if I didn’t run Chubby Fem Thrift, I would aim to thrift exclusively - one of the things I love the most about secondhand fashion (besides sustainability, this world has enough textiles) is the ability to change and transform depending on your style, your mood, your plans, your event… When you donate or buy from a thrift store, you’re helping your community evolve! All while keeping amazing clothing out of the landfills.
Chubby Fem Thrift has so many cool events planned for the coming year (y’all ready for ep. 2?? 👀)
We’re so blessed to have this little community around us, thanks for making 2025 not completely suck💕

Happy Friday fellow fat babes! I don’t always go out - but when the is performing - I have to snag me some tickets! (Esp when there’s two showings so my night can start and end early!🤭) AND the fates aligned when I found this black sexy dress while prepping for the bin event - just a few weeks before Hoe-lloween! It was an epic show with an amazingly haunting atmosphere curtesy of . This event was full of q***r Black joy and I feel honoured to have been apart of it ❤️

Changing sizes doesn’t have to be scary! We are not meant to stay the same forever - I mean, change is the only constant in life. I used to hold on to pieces for that off chance it would fit me again. Getting over that hump has really allowed me to expand my wardrobe and experiment with my style!
