Love this article!

Apparently an article is making the rounds in Asia about how ingesting lemon essential oil is dangerous and how lemon juice has more benefits than drinking the oil. 😳
I take issue with the article because the referenced papers do not conclude that essential oil ingestion is dangerous. It simple details the chemical constituent differences between lemon oil and lemon juice. Are they different? Of course they are. Lemon juice is going to contain water soluble chemical compounds in addition to some of the fat soluble ones. It will contain citric acid whereas the oil does not. 🍋
Here’s the thing fam, there are and will always be people who advocate against the use of essential oil ingestion. Just accept it as a fact and let’s move on. The FDA generally recognizes dozens of essential oils as safe for human consumption, so ignore the naysayers. Certainly, essential oils carry a risk if they are ingested in excess. But to the best of my research, I have never read any paper that I feel concludes that ingestion of small amounts is harmful. 😛

Use essential oils. Not too much. On the regular. Ignore the people who say they are dangerous even in small amounts. If you ever come across a paper that concludes essential oils are unsafe in small amounts, please send to me, and I’ll change my teaching. Until then, I am 100% in the ingest essential oils club. I do it on the daily. 📆

One of my colleague’s littles consistently wakes up around 1 am and inconsolably cries for hours. This Tantrum Tamer roll on is my go to help kids chill out when they are freaking out. 😭
To make your Roll On, combine 20 drops of orange essential oil, 15 drops of Valor, and 10 drops of Release and add enough fractionated coconut oil to fill the bottle. 🥥
Attach roller fitment and invert gently to combine. Roll on as needed (which hopefully isn’t often!) 🙏🏻
