🚗 Reminder: Parking Changes Begin Tomorrow at SMH 🚗
As part of our ongoing parking lot construction, a section of the upper parking lot will close starting Monday, November 17.

Here’s what to know:
• Visitor parking remains available in upper and lower lots
• Extra visitor spots will be located across from the Ambulance Bay
• Public parking is also available on Fletcher Crescent

Please give yourself a bit of extra time when arriving.
We appreciate your understanding as we work to expand and improve parking at SMH.

In collaboration with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU), an Influenza outbreak has been declared on Stevenson Memorial Hospital’s (SMH) Medical/Surgical Unit.

All close contacts have been notified and enhanced cleaning has been implemented along with additional infection prevention and control measures, including additional influenza testing.

The Medical/Surgical inpatient unit is closed to visitors at this time, unless a designated/essential care partner has been determined as required or a patient is palliative. Wearing a mask is a requirement at all times in the unit, which will be provided by the hospital.

🚧 Parking Update at SMH 🚧

Construction on our new parking lot is progressing, and changes to the upper parking lot will begin Monday, November 17.

A section of central parking spaces in the upper lot will be closed to support curbing and site preparation. Visitor parking will remain available in both the upper and lower lots, with additional spots designated for visitors across from the Ambulance Bay.

Accessible parking will remain close to the main entrance, and additional public parking is available on Fletcher Crescent.

Please plan ahead and allow extra time to park.
