Bales Family Chiropractic

Bales Family Chiropractic If you don't experience Great Health on a regular basis then you may be living with a poorly aligned spine!

The spine is the core structure in the body and acts a lot like the foundation in your house. The spine supports the structures and functions in the body. The Head is supported by the spine and must be properly aligned for normal upright posture. The spine must be stable for proper movement of your arms and legs. The ribs attach to the spine and its stability allows normal breathing to take place.

Many of the internal organs have connective tissue attachments to the spine as well. The delicate spinal cord also passes through the spine conveying the electrical impulses that regulate normal function, healing, maintenance, growth, and adaptation of all the tissues in the body. The spine is made up of 24 separate moveable bones that very often get pulled, pushed, stretched and jarred out of normal alignment. Just like a poor and deteriorating foundation in a house will lead to various problems, poor alignment and deterioration of the spine will lead to numerous problems with your health. It is of fundamental importance to keep your spinal foundation in the best possible alignment to support a healthy body and to prevent injury, illness and disease processes from advancing. We utilize specific, non-invasive screening tests that quickly tell us if your spine is out of alignment. Correcting poor spinal alignment can resolve many of the health problems that people suffer with and help prevent more serious chronic problems from developing.

Is AM sunlight better than PM sunlight?
Light is a nutrient and it comes in many frequencies. Our amazing body has many receptors to absorb the different frequencies to help nourish and energize our health.
The sunrise has massive amounts of natural blue light which wakes us up, but is also balanced with red and infra-red (IR-A) light. Exposing ourselves to more IR-A light allows us to build our solar callus (tan) by reducing sunburn from ultraviolet (UV-B) light. Infra-red light can provide up to a SPF 15 level of skin protection, if we receive this light before the UV.
UV light is absent in the AM so pre-loading the skin with a ton of IR-A light in the AM helps protect us against excessive UV-B light in the PM.
IR-A light has a longer wavelength and penetrates our bodies deeper to help repair cellular damage and regulate energy production in our mitochondria (cellular batteries).
Being inside in the morning on your blue-light only (think LED’s) technology devices set’s you up for more sunburn in the afternoon.
By bathing in infra-red light in the morning, we increase our tolerance for the amount of UV light we can absorb. This is important because our body needs UV light to make wonderful compounds like Vit D, thyroid hormones, dopamine, melanin, melatonin, serotonin, and urocanic acid a compound that acts as a UV filter to protect us from sunburn and skin damage.
So, in summary, the sun is not to be feared, it is vital to our health. Get outside as much as possible in the morning. When we follow Mother Nature’s rules we surrender to common sense.

Stay healthy, naturally!

Pro Health Tip: Early to bed, early to rise. If possible see the sunrise every day.
