First there were 5400 applicants...then there were 90 finalists...and now there are 36 winners. Congratulations to the Loran Scholars Foundation - Fondation Boursiers Loran Class of 2026!
As a proud sponsor and long-time supporter of the Loran Scholars program, Friesens is honoured to celebrate these achievements and the communities behind them. We also want to take a moment to acknowledge the roles schools, teachers, advisors, and peers play in shaping students who go on to achieve at this level.
One of this year's Loran Scholars, Nathan Froebe, comes from Carman, Manitoba, right here in the Pembina Valley where Friesens' head office and production facilities are located.
