Yearbook fonts can make or break your yearbook design. Even science says so: A Microsoft researcher found in two different studies that good use of fonts can make a person feel better and can make them feel like they're reading for shorter amounts of time!

Along with all the other fabulous resources in your Friesens Yearbook Kit is a Design & Layout poster (shown here by Friesens Erin, our Yearbook Administration Manager) to hang in your classroom for an easy "at-a-glance" reference. When we showed you the "Make Your Colours Pop" poster that's in your Friesens Yearbook Kit, we talked about the importance of choosing colours wisely. Also in your Yearbook Kit is the Friesens Process Colour Guide...what THIS does is helps you choose not only the best colours, but shows you how it will print on Friesens presses!

Much like your toaster at home toasts differently than the toaster at your school, even though it's the same setting, colours will look different on different computer monitors. The Friesens Process Colour Guide (shown here at our HP 50000 press with Project Specialist Kevin Peters) gives you the CMYK code you need to ensure all colours are consistent throughout your yearbook, no matter what computer you are using.
