Terra Green is closing its storefront....
But here's to resilience and blooming again.
I'm stepping into 2024 with a heart full of change for Terra Green. It's not just a business, it's my journey. It's a decision that has had so many factors play into it - good, bad and the in-between.
Sadly, the current economy has been relatively hard on small businesses - not my fault and not yours either. It's strickly a sign of what's happening right now. With my lease renewal imminent, working full time, owning 2 businesses including being a maker and struggling with an injury, has brought me physical, emotional and personal challenges.
January 31st will be the last day that Terra Green will operate a local artistan retail space. But my roots run deep in this community and my journey will continue. February 1st, you will find me online and in new spaces, nurturing my passion for growing plants and enriching my product line.
🌱To my incredible customers: you've been more than patrons; you've been the heartbeat of Terra Green. Your loyalty, enthusiasm, and shared love for my products and the products of the artists and makers continues to fuel this new path for my business.
🌱To the artists whose creations graced the walls and shelves of Terra Green: you are truly talented, inspiring and it's been my absolute pleasure to share your creativity with the community.
🌱To my friends and family: your encouragement and shared moments of joy and even a few tears during the last three years have made this adventure richer. Your belief in me and Terra Green has been a constant source of inspiration.
We will continue to welcome you into the shop until January 27th as we celebrate True Fest in downtown Amherstburg. All our giftcards will be honoured in-store until then and online afterwards.
