Say hello to our new physio student, Sarah! 👋✨

You’ll spot her on our slide and around the clinic with Physios Hayley and Fausta until June! We’re so excited to have her join the team and bring her energy, kindness, and love for working with kids.

A few fun facts about Sarah:✨ She’s from Halifax💃 Grew up dancing and recently got into line dancing🐾 Foster mom to cats (yes, your heart can melt now)📚 Read over 100 books last year (we’re impressed)

If you see Sarah around the clinic, be sure to say hi!

Understanding Behaviour: A Practical Workshop for Caregivers 🧠✨

Have you ever wondered why certain behaviours keep happening with your kids and what you can actually do about them?

Join us for an interactive, practical workshop designed for caregivers. This session will help you better understand the “why” behind behaviour and give you realistic, easy-to-use strategies you can start applying right away.

Together, we’ll explore:
✔️ How to recognize behaviour patterns
✔️ What’s driving behaviours (the “why”)
✔️ How to respond in the moment
✔️ Ways to reinforce positive behaviours
✔️ How to create supportive environments for success

This workshop is led by Kurtis, a Registered Behaviour Analyst (R.B.A. Ont.) and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), who brings both professional expertise and real-life perspective as a clinician and parent. His approach blends Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) with trauma-informed practice, making complex concepts simple, practical, and meaningful.

Meet R! A 15-year-old AAA/AA rep baseball player and track athlete ⚾🏃‍♂️

After sustaining an avulsion fracture to his hip/pelvis this past fall, R was sidelined for months, especially from running and sprinting. When your game is built on speed, being kept off the base paths and track can be incredibly frustrating.

Through individualized treatment including sport-specific exercises, soft tissue work, acupuncture, and a guided home program, R put in the work 💪

Just a few sessions in, he was back to indoor baseball training and more recently, we heard some amazing news:
🥇 1st place in the 60m
🏆 Part of a winning 4x100m relay team at his high school indoor meet

We love seeing our athletes return to doing what they love… stronger, faster, and more confident.

Your comeback story starts here. 💥

Does your baby always turn their head to one side and struggle with breast or bottle feeding? 👶

A head turning preference can make breast or bottle feeding harder, as babies may struggle to latch or feed comfortably on one side.

Physiotherapy can help by improving neck mobility, positioning, and muscle balance to make feeding easier and more comfortable for baby.

Our physios Fausta and Kait offer infant feeding assessments to support both babies and parents. 🤱

📅 Book an appointment if you’re noticing feeding challenges or a head turning preference.

Our Story

Yes, just kids. Yes, just physio.

We were the first to provide this service in British Columbia, and are proud to have treated thousands of children of all ages and abilities over the past 10 years. Babies, kids, and teens function differently from adults, and our space and team are equipped to provide the highest quality physiotherapy care, delivered in an engaging way.

Our specialized equipment and treatments focus on improving mobility, strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, endurance, gross motor skills, cognition, motor planning, confidence, motivation, and more. With a large, experienced team we are able to provide custom programs based on each child’s distinct needs from birth to 18 years old.

Typically developing children with injuries, or those looking to extend or improve their athletic careers through pre-habilitation enjoy our open space, engaging equipment, and thoughtful treatment plans, while those with lifelong conditions benefit from the playfulness and our creative support to help them stay motivated in their rehabilitation journey.
