DK Orthotic Solutions is a sports pedorthic company focused on working wtih active populations which are eager and committed to recovering, maintaining and improving their athletic performance and/or physical well-being. We achieve this by using orthotic and footwear solutions to maximize the efficiency of your muscles during activity and promoting maximal levels of recovery during rest. WHAT WE DO

At DKOS we provide complete and comprehensive treatment plans, including solutions for sport, activity and recovery. We employ a proactive approach in order to keep clients at their best, so they can enjoy living an active, pain-free lifestyle, be it participating in recreational sports or activities, or training with specific goals in mind. At DK Orthotic Solutions, we strive to be different from other orthotic providers in designing our orthotics and treatment plans specific to each person and their activity. An orthotic for a running shoe is designed much differently than an orthotic for a cleat or a cycling shoe, and this is different from an orthotic designed for recovery. In order to receive maximum benefit from your orthotic, it needs to be designed specifically to the individual, their activity and their shoe.

The DKOS team will be sponsoring a 'clean up' event during the Sulphur Springs trail race this weekend!

CLEAN UP THE MESS WITH DKOS

Here's how it works:

👉 pick up any garbage you see while on your run

👉 the first 20 runners to finish the race with a piece of garbage they found on the trail will receive a DKOS water bottle or a pair of DKOS running socks!

A great turn out and amazing Saturday morning at 's 1st guided training session! As always, awesome seeing so many familiar faces & making new friends too.

The next guided training session is on Sat April 5th at 8am for anyone interested! It's a great way to familiarize yourself with the race course loop & socialize with fellow trail runners.

Get to Know Pedorthist Amanda!

Amanda graduated with her HBSc Kinesiology degree from McMaster University. Following a placement with DKOS in her final semester in 2019, Amanda joined the team and began working as Pedorthic Lab Technician. She then continued her education, completing the Diploma in Pedorthics program through Western University and became a fully Certified Canadian Pedorthist in 2022.

Born and raised in Binbrook, Amanda grew up playing a wide variety of sports, including soccer, rugby, and cross country. These days she stays active through soccer, running, hiking, and yoga. Amanda is also an avid baker and makes the best cinnamon rolls :)
