**Meet the Team Tuesday**
Name:
Dianna Moulden
Why did you become a physio?
In my high school year book, I wrote that my dream destination was âthe raptors therapistâ. Without truly knowing my path, I did know I wanted to work with athletes and help people move & perform at their best.
Favourite modality to use in the clinic?:
Dry needling - I love using this technique to specifically target trigger points. Although discomfort can come with this type of needling, I love seeing the effects on patients post-treatment
Favourite part of being a physio?:
Being a part of patient successes - anything from gold medals on a World Cup circuit to walking their daughter down the aisle at her wedding. They are all meaningful and make my job worth it
Favourite part of working in Ancaster?:
I love the small town feel. I love how the entire town is like an episode of Cheers - where everybody knows your name. I also love seeing support of small businesses supporting each other.
Favourite TV Show?:
Anything reality - bachelor/bachelorette, housewives of any city, kardashians or anything crime related - documentaries, how to get away with murder, scandal, the first 48
Favourite Book/Current Read?:
Anything by Shari Lapena - thriller novels that are so realistic itâs like watching a movie
Biographies
Currently reading - Untamed by Glennon Doyle
Favourite thing to do for/over the holidays?:
I love the lights! Being a December baby, combined with Christmas, I love all things holidays. I love driving around and seeing the holiday lights. My favourite thing in December is to have a coffee in the morning with the mantel and Christmas tree lit up, when itâs still dark outside.
Favourite thing to do outside of the clinic?:
Itâs rare to find me not working, but when Iâm not working - I love learning! I love taking new courses, learning different techniques and seeing what other information is out there to bring the best possible treatment to our patients.
When not working or learning, I love to try new online workouts, walk my rambunctious dog and watch my 21 month old nephew.
Best piece of health advice:
Keep moving - always
