In The Begining
How the Leslie and Webb studio got started is a rather funny story and lengthy, I'll do my best to keep it short and sweet. By trade I am a Remote Flight Paramedic, I have always been interested in woodworking, right from an early age. I found it to be very therapeutic, it was my quiet time, a cup of coffee and wood shavings, absolute bliss. One afternoon my partner and love of my life, asked if I could make her a charcuterie board. I honestly had no idea what that was, she smiled and showed me a picture and I agreed to give it a try. I had found a beautiful piece of Black Walnut, as I cut it to the length she wanted and sanded it smooth, I couldn't shake the feeling that there was something missing. At that moment, I decided to inlay and carve a few birds onto the board. When it was finished, I thought she was going to hate it. I walked into the kitchen to show her, and she started to cry...She loved it, with a picture and a click of a mouse the Leslie and Webb Studio was born.
