2026, Powered by January 🔋✨

January brings motivation, fresh starts, and that familiar “this could be the year” energy. The question isn’t whether we feel inspired, it’s how we use that energy so it doesn’t fade by February.

Research in wellbeing and behaviour change shows that lasting change isn’t built on motivation alone. What helps momentum last is clarity of intention, small repeatable actions, and identity-based habits. When goals align with who we want to be,not just what we want to achieve — follow-through becomes easier and wellbeing is better supported.

2026 doesn’t need more pressure.
It needs purpose, alignment, and a power source you can sustain.

Let January be the power source, not the pressure.

My word for the year is ALIGNMENT. 🧭

For me, alignment is about coherence and integrity - the inner knowing of this fits who I am. It’s when my values, voice, and actions move in the same direction, in life and in work. ✨

Alignment doesn’t fight.
It doesn’t need to reclaim anything.
It settles - and from that place, strength naturally shows up.

This year, alignment looks like:
✔️Making choices that feel internally right, not just externally impressive.
✔️ Trusting my calm, thoughtful way of leading.
✔️ Allowing confidence to be steady, not loud.
✔️ Bringing clarity without urgency, and authority without hardness.

When I honour alignment, I live with presence and purpose -
fully engaged, fully myself.
I move with intention.
I move with wholeness.

Consider this your reminder too:
Alignment isn’t about becoming more - it’s about letting who you already are lead. 🙌🏻

My word of the year is Focus (with a side of sparkle of course 💖🪩)

I love choosing a word because it gives me something to come back to — a quiet anchor I can use when focus fades or life feels full. A word of the year isn’t a rule, it’s a reminder. ✨💛

Focus, for me, doesn’t mean rigid, serious, or joyless.
It means choosing what truly matters… and bringing my character strengths of zest, humour, and curiosity along for the ride to support me.

This year, focus looks like:

▪️Giving my attention to my work, health, and relationships in ways that genuinely matter to me.
▪️Saying no without guilt — choosing what supports my energy and wellbeing.
▪️Saying yes to what feels aligned, meaningful, and life-giving.
▪️Letting energy (and laughter) be part of the strategy, not a distraction.

Turns out, when I lead with my character strengths, focus becomes easier and more sustainable, especially when it’s feeling hard.
Zest fuels momentum, humour lowers the pressure, and curiosity pulls me back in with interest instead of willpower.

Have you got a word for year? Anying popping up that feels good? Share in the comments!

Don’t wait for the big milestone to pop that champagne… your tiny wins are doing some pretty heavy lifting too. 🥂

Every December, I reflect on my Wall of Wins, and every time, I’m reminded of something we forget way too easily:

Small wins matter.
Quiet wins matter.
The big wins matter
The wins no one saw but you… also matter.

I also get excited remembering and savouring the wins.

Because every time you acknowledge a win (big or microscopic), your brain gets a hit of dopamine.
That little burst boosts your mood, strengthens motivation, and trains your brain to keep noticing progress — even on the days when growth feels invisible.

You don’t need a WOW. Your wins can live in a journal, a notes app, or the back of a napkin. What matters is that you see them.

So here’s your invitation: take a couple minutes today and name one win from the year. Just one.
Watch what shifts.

And ask your friends and family what some of their wins are!

Choosing a word for the year isn’t just a fun tradition — it can be a powerful way to set the tone for how you want to live. 🌱

When you put intention behind it, that one word becomes a quiet guide — shaping your choices, your boundaries, and your energy. Research shows that naming a guiding value helps your brain filter the world through that lens.

Priming research tells us that the ideas we focus on subtly influence our behaviour and emotional responses, so choosing a word helps your mind notice the moments where that intention can come to life.

Mindset research shows that what we believe shapes how we approach challenges, growth, and possibility. Your word becomes a gentle mindset cue, nudging you toward who you’re becoming.

And studies on implementation intentions show that naming a clear intention increases follow-through.

Of course, choosing a word of the year isn’t for everyone. Some people love the clarity it brings; others prefer to move through the year moment by moment. Both paths are valid. This is simply an invitation — a seed you can plant if it feels right for you.

If a word does call to you, take a moment to reflect on what it truly means to you.

So tell us below…
What seed are you planting for 2026?
What word or intention is calling to you? 🌱✨

The holidays (or anytime really) aren’t meant to be perfect — they’re meant to be human.
The burnt cookies, the last-minute wrapping, the plans that change three times, the sick kids, the wonky tree… that’s real life.
And those imperfect moments? They’re usually the ones we laugh about later.

So this season, celebrate those imperfections.
Laugh at them. Invite them!
Let them remind you you’re doing your best and that “good enough” is more than enough for our wholebeing happiness.

Honestly, who’s even going to know it isn’t perfect. Let the messy shine. ✨🎄

Holiday hustle has a way of convincing us we should be “on” all the time — but your well-being needs recovery just as much as effort.
Science shows that pausing, resting, laughing, wandering, and unplugging aren’t indulgent… they’re essential. Recovery helps regulate your nervous system, boosts resilience, and protects your wholebeing happiness.

So this week, give yourself permission to do what you need — whether that’s a nap, a dance in the kitchen, a walk in the cold air, or simply being wonderfully, authentically you.

✨ You be you this holiday.

If this is the reminder you needed, save it for later or share it with someone who could use a little permission to pause.

Your energy is giving you feedback every single day — the question is, are you listening?

If something depletes you, it’s usually a cue that you need a reset: a pause, a boundary, or a moment to breathe.
If something restores you, that’s your signal to make it part of your routine — to weave it into your everyday life so it becomes a source of steadiness, not just a rare treat.

This is one way of building wholebeing happiness: not through big dramatic changes, but by noticing what drains us, honouring what restores us, and choosing small practices that support our wellbeing day by day.Take time to notice:

✨ What’s depleting you?
✨ What’s restoring you?

Choose one small reset — or one restorative routine — to support the version of you who’s growing.
