Every single day I make a difference in people's lives. I know this because every single day I hear, at least once, how I have helped lives, minds, hearts, bodies, and spirits break out of mental and physical prisons of pain, fear, anger, grief, despair, hopelessness, and trauma. I humbly receive folks telling me I am a treasure and that my community is blessed to have me here. I hear that the doctors and nurses are praising my work and referring people to me.

It's a little overwhelming and a lot humbling.

Whatever it is you do -- I hope that your work in the world makes your heart swell with pride, connection, gratitude, and love..

CLINIC ANNOUNCEMENTS

1) With gratitude (and some sadness and some anticipation) I am officially closing the Antigonish clinic at the end of this week. I cherish my time in Antigonish and the incredible opportunities that I have been granted. And the people -- oh, the incredible patients, friends, colleagues, and community!!!

2) starting in May I will be splitting practice differently. I will be Mondays and Tuesdays at Backyard Wellness in Windsor, NS and Thursdays and Fridays in Inverness. I'm excited about this new partnership with Backyard Wellness and look forward to connecting with the vibrant Hants Shore community! You can still book online for my Inverness clinic, but for the time being you will need to email or call me to book in Windsor. Eventually the scheduling will all be available online.

3) I am largely taking this big leap to boost the music part of my life. This past 18 months in Antigonish has really given me time and space to revitalize my music practice -- genres ranging from healing/music medicine to jazz to classical and all sorts of uncategorizable blurring of genres. But I also need people to play with, improvise with, perform with. More performance opportunities. And more live arts scene beyond the bounty of fiddling and blues rock offered on Cape Breton and in Antigonish. So, in a big leap of faith...onwards! Yes, for now that is a lot of commuting. What the future holds, I really don't know. But here's one giant step.

4) What a grand time to re-brand my business! It's just a name change. I registered this name more than 6 months ago but the time wasn't right. The website address remains JENECE.COM but the business name is transitioning to Alchemy Healing Arts. This more accurately articulates the evolving spirit of my practice, and it holds so much more than Acupuncture.
