Ecolab is the world’s global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies, and services. Ecolab is recruiting student applicants for a position as a Territory Sales Intern for a 15 week PAID internship (May to August 2019).

EXCITING NEWS! Mount Saint Vincent University will be hosting the inaugural Science Atlantic Nutrition and Foods conference on February 28th.

Here's a glimpse of the activities to look forward to:
- An infographic development workshop
- KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Dr. Bradley Johnston. Dr. Johnston's work involves evidence synthesis and randomized trial methods focusing on the principles and practice of evidence-based nutrition. Dr. Johnston is the co-founder of NutriRecs. It is used as a model for organizations who are developing nutritional guidelines. Dr. Johnston will discuss current nutritional guidelines and explain how to assess quality of evidence to develop nutritional guidelines.

ALSO, there are various competitions that you may be interested in entering!
- Design the logo for the conference (deadline: Feb 1)
- Submit an abstract (deadline: Feb 1)
- Travel awards

HOW TO GET INVOLVED:
- Volunteer! Roles include registration, set-up/tear down, assisting guests, etc.
- Attend the conference! The fee is $50 for students :)

Join the CAFP this Wednesday (Nov 18th) in the SUB for a fun filled photo-booth fundraiser!! This fundraiser will go from 10am-5pm, giving you plenty of time to grab a friend, get a SICK picture taken, and help us Make Food Matter! We can't wait to see all of you photo-booth models on Wednesday:)

Great presentation today by Leanna Braid, owner of Pachamama. Leanna was sharing the gist of starting a local business and had an interesting twist to her tale. She is big on food ethics and has a strong ethical philosophy about the socio-economic and environmental production of her products. These are values upon which her business is built, she is truly an inspiration and a great role model in our Antigonish community.
