😂 uncontrollable laughter
🔥 a few “accidental” body shots
🤝 new pickleball friendships

Today we celebrate the incredible women of the Armstrong Pickleball Club. The players who bring skill, determination, laughter, and heart to the courts every single day. 💪🏽🏓

From beginners picking up a paddle for the first time to fierce competitors battling it out at the kitchen line, our women make this club stronger, kinder, and more fun. You inspire each other to learn, improve, and keep showing up …and that spirit is what makes our pickleball community so special.

A huge shout-out to the women who organize games, mentor new players, compete fearlessly, and lift everyone around them. Your energy and leadership make APC an amazing place to play.

Here’s to strong serves, fearless d***s, supportive teammates, and the powerful community of women.

Did you know that Gary Edwards is running a fundraising program for our club? The funds will help purchase things like balls, fun equipment, and other little extras that make our club even better.

For the months of March and April, Gary is selling Askew’s gift cards as part of the fundraiser.

Since many of us already do our shopping at Askew’s, this is an easy way to support the club. Simply purchase a prepaid gift card and use it for your regular groceries.

Today we proudly launched our first Seniors Drop-In Pickleball program offered through Armstrong Spallumcheen Parks & Recreation Department, and what a fantastic start it was.

If there’s one thing we learned today, it’s this: seniors are spicy, fun, and absolutely ready to pursue sport with enthusiasm and athletic spirit.

The courts were filled with laughter, music, movement, and a wonderful sense of community. It was inspiring to watch players connect, learn, and enjoy the game together at a pace that was both gentle and exciting.

If you know a senior who would benefit from connection, activity, community, and the joy of learning pickleball, this drop-in program is the perfect place to start. No pressure, just great people, great energy, and a lot of fun on the court.

At one point we weren’t even sure what was louder, the music or the laughter. And honestly, that’s exactly the kind of atmosphere we hoped to create.

Come join us, bring a friend, and experience why pickleball continues to be one of the most welcoming and enjoyable sports for every stage of life!
