Melissa Fequet - Yoga & Athletic Therapist & Women's Health Advocate

Melissa became a Certified Athletic Therapist in 2013 after graduating from the Exercise Science and Athletic Therapy program at Concordia University. She also completed a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Science from McMaster University in 2018. Melissa is also a certified yoga teacher!

With extensive knowledge in movement and exercise, Melissa is able to create individualized rehabilitation programs based on the needs of each client to help them reach their goals. It very much resembles physiotherapy, and how we help our patients reach their goals of rehabilitation

Melissa works with any gender or age, and also focuses her practice on women's health! Melissa's dedication goes beyond injury recovery—she empowers women through every stage of their athletic journey, from postpartum care to pelvic floor health and injury prevention.

Her compassionate approach, clinical expertise, and commitment to education have made a lasting difference in the lives of countless clients. Melissa is not just a therapist—she’s an advocate, a listener, and a trusted guide for so many individuals striving to feel strong, capable, and confident in their bodies.

📣 Excited to announce online booking is now open for our Baby Movers class taking place at the beautiful & serene Silver Birch Place in Arnprior!

This class was created to help support parents and caregivers in supporting their little one’s early motor skill development.

Think things like tummy time, rolling, bringing their hands to their feet & more. Each week will also involve education on topics like anticipated timelines for motor skills, avoiding flat head and/or torticollis, infant container use, and more.

Please note that families with little ones new to APPP will require an initial assessment (price built in to this program) with Tessa (registered pediatric physiotherapist) prior the our first class on June 3rd to ensure the class is suitable for their current stage of development.
