What a wonderful story of gratitude. ❤️❤️❤️

A deeply moving painting dedication took place recently on Arnprior Regional Health’s Inpatient Unit, as family, friends, and members of the nursing team gathered to honour the work of local artist and patient, Lynda Tyler.

The painting, titled "Life", was created by Lynda as a tribute to the ARH staff who supported her during a critical moment in her cancer journey. While receiving end-of-life care on the Inpatient Unit, Lynda experienced a medical emergency. She was successfully resuscitated — an intervention that gave her something she deeply valued: time to say goodbye on her own terms.

When Lynda was no longer able to complete the final details of the painting, fellow artist and longtime friend Kevin Dodds stepped in to finish it, helping bring her vision fully to life.

"Life" now hangs where nurses can see it every day, as a reminder of how important their work is and how deeply it impacts patients and families.

We are honoured to carry her legacy forward.

A sweet thank you goes a long way.

Last week, ARH staff were treated to cookies thanks to the generosity of a dedicated donor who wanted to say thank you for all they do each and every day. Gestures like this mean so much and remind our teams how appreciated they are.

Thank you to our donor for spreading a little joy throughout the hospital.

We have a fashion show planned for the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation’s Ultimate Ladies Night. We can’t wait to see not just our models, but everyone in attendance strut their fashions on the dance floor.

A huge thank you to our Fashion Show Partners and supporters, Audrey's Fashions and Racked, amazing local businesses we’re proud to showcase.

On January 20, we gathered with donors, staff, and community partners to celebrate an important milestone at Arnprior Regional Health, the arrival of new endoscopy equipment now in use and already making a difference for patients close to home.

More than 2,100 endoscopy procedures are performed at ARH each year, and this new equipment is helping ensure timely, high-quality diagnostic care for our community.

While this was a moment worth celebrating, the Scope for Hope Endoscopy Campaign is still ongoing. Thanks to generous supporters, 65% of the $800,000 goal has been reached, and there is still important work ahead.

Putting Community First

The 60-bed Grove Nursing Home (pictured above) provides skilled and compassionate long-term care and has been a vital part of the community since 1981.

In January of 2019 the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation launched a 5 year, 5 million dollar fundraising campaign to support this project. We are pleased to report funds raised exceed $3,000,000.00!!

We need your help to reach our goal!
