A virtual tour of the Wellness Center!

👉Programs and activities started last week and attendance numbers are strong!

Play Group
Taking place in the Access Credit Union Studio on Thursdays at 11:00 AM, Play Group is a bonding time through unstructured play, games, and movement for caregivers and their young children. Participants should bring any personal baby/toddler needs such as diapers.

Kinder Craft Club
Running Tuesdays at 11:00 AM in the Access Studio, this club features hands-on creative projects for 4-7-year-old children, developing fine motor skills and imagination. Supplies are provided, but children should wear clothes that can get messy and bring a water bottle. Adult supervision required.

Kids Drawing Club
Let creativity shine in Kids Drawing Club! Young artists aged 7-11 will follow step-by-step instructions to learn how to draw using basic shapes, improve their ability to follow directions, and build foundational artistic skills. Paper and pencils are provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own sketchbook to keep their creations. Held weekly on Tuesday afternoons from 3:00-4:00. Adult supervision is required.

Canasta Club
Meeting on Fridays from 1:00 - 3:00 PM in the Access Studio, Canasta Club invites players of all experience levels to enjoy this classic card game in a welcoming social setting. Regular Canasta and Hand & Foot games included. Geared towards adults, but players 14+ welcome.

Cribbage Club
On Tuesdays from 1:00 – 3:00 PM in the Access Studio, Cribbage Club offers a friendly environment to enjoy strategy and conversation over this traditional game. Boards and pegs are provided, but personal sets are welcome. Geared towards adults, but players 12+ welcome.

Bridge Club
Bridge Club takes place in the Access Studio on Wednesdays from 1:00 – 3:00 PM and welcomes beginners and experienced players alike for fun and mentally engaging sessions. Bring a partner or join a table, and don’t forget your glasses and a notepad if needed. Geared towards adults, but players 14+ welcome.

Kids Board Games
Happening Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 3:00 PM, this fun time lets kids enjoy classics and new board games in a supervised setting. Some games are available, but children are encouraged to bring their favorites too. Held in the Access Studio. Ages 5-15 (adult supervision required for kids under the age of 12).

Yoga
Morning yoga classes run weekdays at 9:15 AM in the Access Credit Union studio, focusing on flexibility, balance, and mindfulness through guided stretches and poses. Suitable for all levels, these online sessions promote stress relief and physical wellness. Participants should bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and wear comfortable, stretchy clothing. Ages 16+.

Chair Yoga
Chair yoga classes take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 AM, offering an online yoga master. This gentle, seated form of yoga is ideal for those with mobility challenges. The virtual sessions help improve posture, flexibility, and circulation. Participants should wear loose-fitting clothing and bring a water bottle.

Kids Yoga
Kids Yoga runs Monday through Friday in the Access Cresit Union Studio from 12:00-12:30, with an online yoga master guiding children through storytelling and age-appropriate poses, breathing, and relaxation techniques. The class enhances balance, focus, and calmness. Participants should bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and wear comfortable clothes. Adult supervision required. Ages 4-9.

Wellness Centre Update!

We’re excited to announce that two areas are now open to the public at the Wellness Centre - the Access Credit Union Studio and the downstairs Locker Rooms.

An interim schedule is now available — but stay tuned! As soon as we receive occupancy for the Fieldhouse (former ice surface) and downstairs meeting room, we’ll release the full schedule.

We are offering an introductory drop-in fee for this summer of $5 per day. You can pay as you arrive, or purchase cards at the Wellness Centre for $25 (good for 5 visits). This fee is good for any activities at the Wellness Centre for the whole day. 3 and under is free with a paid adult.

We can’t wait to show you what it all looks like — the best is yet to come!
