Meet the Team Monday! Meet Dianne! 👋
She’s a dynamic Speech-Language Pathologist with over 32 years of experience and we’re so grateful to have her on the Rocky View Speech Therapy team! Born in southern Alberta and a graduate of the University of Alberta, Dianne has spent much of her career supporting clients across Saskatchewan and now brings her incredible depth of knowledge to Alberta. 💬✨

Dianne’s career began in adult rehabilitation, supporting individuals with neurogenic communication disorders, and later transitioned to the school setting, where she developed a strong focus on language and early literacy. She’s worked on numerous collaborative projects and brings broad experience with many types of communication needs.

Her approach is collaborative, family-centered, and neurodiversity-affirming, offering supportive, child-led sessions tailored to each client’s strengths and goals.

Outside of work, Dianne loves spending time with her dog Ruby and heading to the mountains with her paddleboard or skis depending on the season! 🐾🏔️ Whether she’s on the water or in the snow, she’s always up for adventure. She’s also the proud mom of four adult children, each following their own professional and athletic paths across Canada. 🇨🇦❤️

Meet Michelle! 👋
Michelle is one of our amazing SLPs here at Rocky View Speech Therapy and we’re so lucky to have her on the team. 💛

She’s registered with ACSLPA and has been supporting clients of all ages for nearly 10 years. Before becoming an SLP, Michelle studied biology and psychology, then went on to complete her Master’s at the University of Alberta.

Michelle has a special interest in:
✨ speech sound disorders
✨ language delays in multilingual children
✨ cognitive-communication changes after stroke or brain injury

Her approach is strengths-based, grounded in research, and focused on helping others be understood, join in, and connect with others.

When she’s not at work, Michelle loves yoga, reading, and spending time with her husband, their one-year-old son, and their dog Piccadilly. She’s also a tea drinker and embroidery enthusiast!

We’re so happy to have Michelle’s knowledge, dedication, heart, and steady presence on our team.

Meet the Team Monday! Meet Jennifer! 👋
She’s a seasoned Speech-Language Pathologist with over 16 years of experience, and we’re so proud to have her on the Rocky View Speech Therapy team. Jennifer provides virtual services across Alberta and the Northwest Territories, as well as in-person support in Cochrane making her expertise accessible to a wide range of families and individuals. 💬💻📍

Jennifer’s approach is rooted in the belief that communication isn’t about finding the “right” way, it’s about recognizing the value of every voice and ensuring each person feels heard and understood. Her areas of expertise include augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), autism spectrum disorder, and literacy. With a deep sense of empathy and inclusivity, she empowers her clients to communicate confidently, no matter their starting point. ✨

Outside of her professional life, Jennifer recharges by spending time with her husband and their beloved dogs, often out in nature where she finds inspiration and peace. 🐾🌲❤️

Her dedication, compassion, and expertise make her an incredible addition to our team and to every client she supports.

Meet The Team Monday! Meet Aliana! 👋
She’s a registered Speech-Language Pathologist based in Calgary and a valued part of the Rocky View Speech Therapy team. Aliana provides both in-person and virtual services for pediatric and adult clients, bringing compassion, skill, and a personalized approach to every session. 💬

Her passion lies in supporting individuals with voice and fluency disorders, as well as those navigating aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, and cognitive-communication challenges following stroke, traumatic brain injury, or neurological conditions like Parkinson’s, MS, Dementia, and FND.

Aliana believes that communication is as unique as the person and her holistic, strengths-based, and culturally sensitive approach reflects that. She’s all about building strong connections, creating safe spaces, and tailoring therapy to each client’s goals so they feel empowered and supported every step of the way. ✨

When she’s not in session, you’ll find Aliana travelling, playing sports, reading, or spending time with her family. 🛫📚🏀👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Meet the Team Monday! Meet Katherine! 👋
She’s a registered Speech-Language Pathologist and a valued member of the Rocky View Speech Therapy team. Katherine is passionate about supporting clients of all ages from pre-kindergarten to adulthood as they work toward their communication goals. 💬📚

With a special interest in speech, language, and literacy, and how they interact, Katherine brings a thoughtful and collaborative approach to her work. She takes the time to build trust with each client and their family, helping them identify priorities so therapy is both effective and meaningful. Her sessions are all about curiosity, engagement, and fun because that’s when real learning happens! ✨

When she’s not doing all things SLP, you’ll find Katherine diving into a new book, enjoying tea and conversation with a friend, experimenting in the kitchen, or heading out to explore the Rocky Mountains. 🍵📖🏔️

She’s the founder of Rocky View Speech Therapy and a registered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA). Kirsten is deeply passionate about helping children find their voice and communicate with confidence. 💬✨

With years of experience working in homes, preschools, schools, and clinics, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a warm, empowering approach to every family she supports in and around Calgary. She truly believes that every child has the potential to be a confident communicator and she’s here to help them thrive. 💛

When she’s not working with families, you’ll find Kirsten spending time with her husband, their cat Hobbes, and their Bernese Mountain Dog Annie usually out on a walking trail or enjoying a great cup of coffee. 🐾☕🌿
