Hands of Care

Hands of Care Hands of Care is a Multi-disciplinary rehab Clinic treating a wide range of Orthopaedic conditions. We are not limited to one specific method of treating.

Imagine being able to heal yourself without medication, risky and unnecessary surgery, or depending on someone. Our holistic alternative medicine therapy will assist you on your journey along the path of health and wellness. Hands of Care OsteoLaser Rehabilitation is a private practice treating a variety of Orthopaedic conditions arising from sports injury, accidental injury, and repetitive, postural strains from work and daily life. Our therapy module is an integration of Osteopathy, Laser Therapy, Electrotherapy, Physical Therapy, soft and deep tissue along with myofascial mobilization technique, Acupressure, and ,OF COURSE, Diet and Nutritional Counselling. We strive to educate our patients of their injury and provide long-term solutions for joint and muscle pain. Empowering our patients to successfully self-manage their condition and to maintain an active lifestyle is the ultimate goal. Our mission is to promote a healthy physical body for all people at all stages of life by educating them of their condition and by providing long-term solutions for painful orthopedic conditions. We are so proud to be a part of the osteopathic profession because one of our core beliefs is that the body has the power to heal itself. Medicine is always advancing and fascinating, but we are humble enough to admit that God's greatest creation, the human body, can do things that are just unexplainable by science. It is a privilege to be such an integral part in the healing process and have the opportunity to not only save, but also to touch people's lives. As Manual Osteopaths, we can do everything in modern medicine possible, but we get to go a step further; we are taught from day one to treat the patient as a whole. Patients are not just their disease; they are human beings that must be cared for physically, emotionally and spiritually. Think of the Osteopaths as the mixed martial artists of the manual therapy world…. not an art that can be mastered in a couple years but an ongoing transition into a very well rounded and complete system of treatment. We combine Physio, Chiro, and Massage therapy in one to treat the patient as a whole. Remember your body wasn’t pieced together. We do joint mobilizations like chiropractors, we do soft tissue work like massage therapists, prescribe exercise like a Physiotherapist, address lifestyle and nutrition like a fitness coach…. The greatest thing about osteopathy is that it enables us to be healers through our two portable hands, without any surgical procedure.

What is Massage Therapy?
Massage therapy is a form of hands-on therapy that involves manual manipulation of the body’s muscles, tendons, ligaments, and other soft tissues. It is used to help improve circulation, reduce tension and discomfort, promote relaxation, and support overall health and well-being.
Massage Therapy can involve various techniques and modalities, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, trigger point therapy, and more. The therapist may use their hands, fingers, forearms, and elbows to apply pressure and manipulate the soft tissues, as well as various oils, lotions, and other tools to aid the process.
