McRoberts Athletic Therapy, established in January 2016, is a private athletic therapy business and former clinic. I have been working as a Certified Athletic Therapist since 2007, after graduating from Sheridan College with a Bachelor of Applied Health Science in Athletic Therapy, and Sir Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology. I have gained experience working with vari
ous populations ranging from recreational athletes and weekend warriors, to high performance athletes and Paralympians. Some of my past work experiences include having been the Head Athletic Therapist at St. Andrew's College, Medical Director of Madawaska All-Sport and Volleyball Camps, Head Athletic Therapist of the Men's U19 Floorball Team, and I am currently the Lead Medical Officer of the Canadian Wheelchair Rugby Team. Complete one-on-one attention with no client overlap. It is my goal to create a welcoming environment for my patients, with special attention to patient comfort and privacy. It is my goal to work with each patient to identify the problem and alleviate the pain. My past involvements as an athlete, as well as the experiences I have gained in covering over 30 different sports, provide me with a unique ability to connect with my patients. I look forward to continuing to develop my skills by delivering services to a broad population of members in this community. McRoberts Athletic Therapy is also a Canadian Red Cross training partner offering both First Aid and First Responder Courses.
