🐉7 of the worst scars to create health problems🐉
Scar tissue is known to change and remodel for years after surgery or injury, meaning its effects can persist long after the initial trauma. Scar tissue adhesions can even form around internal organs, restricting their function and contributing to chronic pain.
1. Cesarean section- one of the most common surgical procedures in the world, C-section incisions cut through multiple layers of tissue (skin, fat, fascia, muscle, peritoneum and uterus). As the body works to restore strength, scar tissue forms at each of these layers. Adhesions can wrap around the bladder or bowels, creating problems with urinary incontinence, constipation and narrow bowel movements.
2. Breast- breast augmentation, reduction or other chest surgeries can be particularly impactful to the heart. Scar tissue adhesions around the heart can be disruptful to its natural rhythm and can make subsequent surgeries more complex or dangerous.
3. Gallbladder- scar tissue adhesions can wrap around and constrict the liver, stomach, bowels, abdominal wall, etc. Gallbladder removal is also related to emotional imbalances, digestive weakness (ie. poor absorption of fats and nutrients) and Qi stagnation.
4. Head- internal adhesions can restrict blood flow to brain regions which can result in problems like headaches, memory issues, mood changes, seizures, etc.
5. Knees & Ankles- can create stagnation and poor circulation in the feet. Scars in this area can restrict mobility (ie. walking, getting up and down).
6. Appendix- directly over psoas muscle, related to chronic hip pain, back pain and lower rib pain.
7. Childhood Traumas- examples like bicycle accidents, stitches, dog bites, etc. can all wreak havoc on older bodies.
*You don’t need to suffer with pain, discomfort or limited mobility. Book a Dolphin Neurostim session, a safe and natural treatment that uses gentle microcurrent to break up adhesions and get you feeling good in your body again.
