🥳 You CAN have your cake and EAT it too!!!
😩The guilt you feel about eating a piece of cake because you “shouldn’t”, because you are on a diet, because you might gain weight, because you won’t be able to stop at one piece, or because you worry about what others will think, is all part of why you end up over eating and bingeing.
🎢And this guilt, shame, and disgust with yourself perpetuates the cycle of turning to food and binge-eating. This roller coaster ride is one you want to get off of for good.
🌿It’s not this simple… but life is too short to avoid cake and feel guilt and shame eating it!! Really, I mean it!! I only wish I knew it was possible and had the right support years ago… 🤦♀️
🤷♀️Recovering when I was in my late 30s is not ideal, but the truth is, I never thought it was possible for ME! So it’s actually amazing and I’m so grateful!
