Today our residents had the joy of meeting a very special guest - Max the miniature horse 🐴🧲. Thanks to our Volunteer Jude for bringing so much happiness to Alderwood ❤️☀️ looking forward to seeing Max and his friends again 🥕🌼

‘I did not imagine it to be this beautiful’ said one of the residents and we fully agree 😊☀️
Even for people with mobility challenges the team goes above and beyond to help and make us feel safe and comfortable 👍
We are very fortunate to have the Winstar tours in Baddeck ⛴️❤️

Alderwood is hiring for yet another new position! The Care Navigator role emphasizes proactive engagement, care coordination, advocacy, and continuous quality improvement to ensure each resident’s experience aligns with their personal values, preferences, and goals.

This Permanent Full-Time position will allow the candidate to split their time between clinical services (OT, PT, or Dietician) and an administrative role - perhaps a perfect balance for the right person?

Alderwood Relay Race 2025 🏁☀️❤️. What a special day for our residents 🏃‍♂️🧑‍🦼‍➡️👨‍🦽‍➡️🚀. We could not have done it without our volunteers and staff ❤️ thank you to the Alderwood Working Council Fundraising, Village of Baddeck, Baddeck Lions Club, Baddeck Fire, Cabot Trail Relay Race committee, student volunteers (some already graduated and still came up to help 😊), family members and friends.
