Our Community Connections programs exist because of our Volunteers. Delivering food and making phone call. Picking up prescriptions, and travelling to medical appointments. From scheduled services to on call responses, we are beyond grateful for the community spirit that exists in Victoria County!

NEXT DELIVERY and RESERVING a bag

Our next delivery date is Thursday April 23rd. The produce will be available for distribution at the Cabot Volunteer Fire Hall between 12.30 and 2.00 pm.

You can reserve a bag by sending your donation via e-transfer to contact@scoffdownnorth.ca by noon on Saturday April 18th.

Not your typical yoga! If these folks looks relaxed, they are! Thanks to Danielle and Municipality of the County of Victoria, Nova Scotia Senior Safety for bringing Yoga Nidra into community and educating us about the benefit of the practice for chronic pain management.

We are thankful that our funding for the companion program has been extended! Call 902-295-2884 if you would like to be a companion to a medical appointment or are in need of one.

We are looking for Victoria County residents willing to be on call to act as a companion for older adults to support navigation from Transit into waiting rooms. Does not include being present in appointments. Flexible commitments and honorariums may be available. Call Jennifer at 902-295-2884 if you are interested.
