North Peace Ride for the Disabled The North Peace Ride for the Disabled provides riding programs for adults and children with disabilit

The North Peace Ride for the Disabled provides horseback riding for persons with a wide range of disabilities. We combine traditional instruction in horsemanship skills with concepts of physical therapy to improve the strength, balance and self-esteem of physically and developmentally delayed children and adults. To an individual with a disability, horseback riding takes them into a new, unexplored world which provides a sense of independence and freedom that defies their disability. Horseback riding challenges our riders in a way that they have seldom been challenged before - and they love every minute of it!

A huge THANK YOU to all of our volunteers! Those that come out every Wednesday, those that show up to monthly meetings, those that help out with fundraisers, your efforts no matter how large or small, are seen and appreciated! Thank you for give of your time to our organization!

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Lana for the incredible dedication she has shown over the past few years with the Ride. From lending a hand on Wednesday nights and at our get‑togethers, to sharing her organizational talents, serving on the board, and leading outstanding fundraising efforts—her contributions have been invaluable.
Lana’s decision to step down leaves a space that will be hard to fill, but her impact will continue to be felt for years to come. 💚
We wish you all the best in your next endeavors, Lana. Thank you again for your time, energy, and commitment—you’ve truly made a difference
