"What Lights of Love Means to Me"
As the Executive Director of Hospice North Hastings, I see every day how love and memory continue to connect us long after someone we cherish is gone. Lights of Love is one of the most meaningful events we hold — a moment when our whole community comes together to remember, to reflect, and to support one another.
This year, it feels especially personal for me. I lost someone close within the past year, and like so many of you, I know the ache that comes with missing them. When I see the tree lit up at Hospice House, each tiny light reminds me that love doesn’t fade — it continues to shine in the stories we share and the care we give.
Every light on the trees represents someone’s heart, someone’s memory, someone’s story. And together, they create something truly beautiful — a glow of comfort, remembrance, and community.
You can dedicate a light in memory or celebration of someone special and help us continue providing compassionate hospice and bereavement care for families across North Hastings.
✨Join us Friday, November 21 at 5:30pm at Hospice House, 27 Bridge Street East.
Hot chocolate, cookies, music, and heartfelt remembrance await.
📸 If you’d like your loved one included in our memorial presentation, please send their photo to info@hospicenorthhastings.com by November 20th.
Let’s fill our tree — and our hearts — with light.💛
